It's an Air fork so you'll need to setup the air pressures for your weight, it's the Marzocchi Manual - http://www.marzocchi.com/admin/download.asp?LN=UK&idC=1629&Campo=ManualeInglese&IDFolder=126&IDOggetto=56399

45 - 75 psi if your under 70kg
60 - 90 psi if your 70 - 90kg
or 75 - 105 if your too fat to ride

I've brought a new front wheel (Hope QR20 hub) which won't fit on the Marzocchi 44's without an adaptor but I'm upgrading to 55's this month. Will see how they work out, if not i'll be chucking them and the wheel on my DMR Trailstar project

Not particularly, they feel quite cheap although I didn't really put them through their paces. I had them off within a month and put some Hope M4's on which are awesome although about 3 - 4 times the price!

If you after a XC brake on a budget then you're fine but there are much better brakes out there.

Ohhh I had fun with this! lol

First you'll need some Center Lock Adaptors if you want to run a 6 bolt rotor

I brought a pair of A2Z Center Lock Adaptors but Superstar sell them for half the price if buying a pair

http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/a2z-center-lock-kit-ad-clk-prod17650/?src=froogle
http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=57&products_id=264

A Hope 160mm Rotor was fine, just slapped on the adaptor and off I went. It's when you try and use Hope 183mm/203mm rotors you have problems

Those rotors are too thick for the adaptor to fit so you have to file the edges of the adaptor down so they work. Also note that you'll have to realign your brake caliper as the adaptor realigns where the rotor should run. Easy on a post mount caliper but if you have IS caliper with a post mount to IS adaptor you'll have to use washers to line it up right

Check out the forum I posted on the issue.

obviously the nice little squirrel gets up, dusts himself off, smiles at the camera so the little kiddies know he's ok and then gets flattened by a Airbus A380 Tyre! hahaha

Did you get the new swingarm on warranty? I'm a bit concerned that it broke so easily! Did they give you any more information, known flaw? etc. . . I'm thinking they have replaced so many that they only have red one's left!

It's a sweet ride, the discs and forks could do with an upgrade but otherwise great value for money.

As I said I brought it from Evans so not sure about the delivery time. I would check out the Felt website and find if you have any dealers near you for a test ride. If you do live near an Evans then check them out but don't expect any decent service. Just read some of the reviews they have a google!

Evans Cycles - £999 although I wouldn't really recommend them

Check it out on Wiggle, it's a bit cheaper Smile

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Felt_Compulsion_Four_2009/5360049679/

Definately good value for money! anything else with the same spec is at least in the £1300 - £1600 price range
